Viking Amun has joined Viking’s Nile fleet, with the delivery of the new river ship taking place earlier this week at the Massara shipyard in Cairo, Egypt.

Viking’s newest ship for the Nile River—the 82-guest Viking Amun—has been floated out of the shipyard, marking a major construction milestone and the first time the ship has touched water.

Viking has further bolstered its presence in Egypt, opening a massive 221 new departures in 2027 for its Pharaohs & Pyramids voyage.
