Tokyo has reaffirmed its dedication to the local market by leading its largest-ever tourism delegation to Australia for key B2B events in Sydney and Melbourne, as Australian travel to Japan continues its record-breaking surge.

A new dedicated ticketing page on Tokyo’s official tourism website will make it easier for visitors to buy tickets for the city’s most popular event, attractions and experiences.

A flurry of high-end hotel openings in Tokyo is strengthening the city’s position as a luxury travel destination as Australian tourist numbers to Japan resurge.

Tokyo Tourism has partnered with Collette to offer a select group of travel advisors an unforgettable educational experience during a luxury ‘Japan -Past & Present’ tour. Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) will launch a 2021 virtual roadshow, kicking off in November. The roadshow will consist of two specially crafted virtual events, designed to connect agents and wholesalers with local suppliers to better equip them with the tools to sell Japan, once international travel resumes.
