New carbon-composite aircraft to potentially open up new long-haul routes
Fiji Airways’ first of two Airbus A350 XWBs has rolled out of the Airbus paint shop in Toulouse, France featuring the airline’s signature livery. The aircraft, an A350-900, will be the first of its kind operated by an airline in the South Pacific region.

Two state-of-the-art widebody jets to join fleet in 2019
Fiji Airways has announced that it will acquire two new Airbus A350 XWB aircraft as part of its wide-body aircraft expansion plans. The new additions to the airline’s fleet will be used to primarily service popular routes between the US and Australia, with exact schedules to be confirmed closer to launch.
