Envoyage has wrapped up its third annual Icons event, bringing together its top 50 global members for a four-day celebration in South Africa.
Set against the country’s diverse backdrops – from Johannesburg’s skyline to the wild savannas – the event honoured elite travel advisors exemplifying excellence in their field.

The event kicked off with a rooftop welcome reception in Johannesburg, where Danielle Galloway, Global Managing Director of Luxury and Independent Brands at Flight Centre Travel Group, welcomed attendees.
“Being the best doesn’t happen by chance. It takes vision, relentless commitment, courage to think differently, and a refusal to settle for ‘good enough’,” she said.

After the opening celebration, delegates headed to the South African bush, with the contrasting environments selected to show the essence of what it means to be an Icon – adapting and excelling in any setting.
This year’s event was supported by major partners including Europ Assistance, Intrepid Travel, Globus Family of Brands, Room-Res, Expedia TAAP, Norwegian Cruise Line and Cover-More Travel Insurance.
Helena Aziz of HBA Travel named one of the top three global Icons, called the experience “an incredible honour and a validation of the hard work we’ve poured into our business.”
“The safari was unforgettable, but the true highlight was connecting with fellow Icons in such an electric, inspiring atmosphere,” she said. “Icons reinforced my pride in what we’ve achieved with Envoyage and reminded me of the power of this community to push us to new heights. Once you experience it, you never want to miss it again.”
Looking ahead, Envoyage announced that Icons 2026 will take place in Vietnam from 2 to 6 November, with Intrepid Travel as the key sponsor. “We are so proud and excited to be hosting Icons 2026 in Vietnam,” said Yvette Thompson, General Manager Sales and Marketing at Intrepid Travel. “It’s one of Intrepid’s most popular destinations with our travellers.”
