Kensington Expeditions debuts, will take guests to space

Kensington Expeditions blend luxury with adventures across land, sea, air and space

December 21, 2025

Private guided travel company Kensington has just launched Kensington Expeditions, a new collection of customized travel experiences “that blend luxury with immersive adventure across land, sea, air and space.”

Among the highlights of the travel experiences, Kensington will offer clients the opportunity to experience ‘the final frontier’ through curated visits to actual space stations. These outposts—part of the world’s first commercial space station currently in development—are designed to lay the foundation for long-term living beyond Earth. These experiences have an anticipated launch of May 2026.

Kensington Expeditions will complement these tailor-made itineraries with leading scientists, marine biologists, explorers and cultural experts guiding the way.

Each expedition incorporates hands-on conservation and scientific engagement alongside exclusive cultural experiences, offering access to activities and locations not available to the general public. Through partnerships with researchers and local organizations, guests participate in field-based initiatives such as marine biodiversity monitoring, community-driven conservation projects and guided ecological studies. An expedition project manager will coordinate the trip, while scientists, naturalists and cultural experts lead workshops, private sessions and immersive tours.

Beyond the space-based experience, other Kensington Expedition sample itineraries include:

  • A 12-day private superyacht expedition from Patagonia to Antarctica, with opportunities for kayaking, submersible dives and visits to working research stations.
  • A journey through British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest, combining a luxury yacht experience with a stay at Nimmo Bay Wilderness Lodge.
  • A 14-day itinerary through Northern and Southern Oman for cultural exploration, outdoor activities and stays in a range of settings, from city hotels and mountain lodges to private desert camps and a restored dhow.
  • A 10-day expedition through Costa Rica, inclusive of a week aboard a private expedition yacht and three nights at Hacienda Montezuma, moving between marine, rainforest and volcanic landscapes.
  • A 34-day private jet journey following the equator around the world, offering rare access to some of the planet’s most remote and biologically rich regions.

Travellers receive personalized expedition gear, such as monogrammed dive equipment and custom 3D star maps. Available travel options include private yachts and jets, off-market lodges and bespoke camps, as well exclusive access and a 24/7 concierge service.
