Luxury residential cruise brand Crescent Seas continues its play for the Australian market with the appointment of Richard Davey as its first Sales Ambassador for Australia.
Davey, a seasoned figure in Australia’s high-end travel scene, brings decades of experience to the role. He was a key member of the original sales team behind The World of ResidenSea, the residential ship that first introduced Australians to the concept of “living at sea.”
“The demand for luxury cruising from ever-roaming Australian travellers has never been higher, and that’s why Crescent Seas’ timing is perfect,” said Davey. “The chance to showcase Navigator in Australia during the season ahead will be a golden opportunity.”

In this new role, Davey will leverage his strong network of Australia’s High-Net-Worth travellers to champion Crescent Seas’ offering. His focus will be on building brand awareness, engaging with potential residents and connecting with “trusted” travel partners.
His appointment follows that of Jason Gelineau as ANZ Brand Ambassador earlier this month. “I am excited to be working with Richard again, a highly respected luxury travel advisor who understands the residential sea-going lifestyle well,” Gelineau said.
Crescent Seas will target “discerning global travellers who already enjoy winter estates, summer homes, and vacation properties around the world.” Its first vessel Navigator will launch in December 2026, following its transfer from Regent Seven Seas Cruises and subsequent drydock.
