The Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels has unveiled four ultra-luxe penthouses and its new crown jewel, the Royal Heritage Suite, marking a significant milestone in the property’s four-year transformation.

According to Corinthia Brussels Managing Director Nicolas Kipper, the new offerings pair the hotel’s commitment to excellence with the “spirit of this remarkable city”.

“From sweeping views of the Notre Dame du Sablon to bespoke Belgian craftsmanship, every detail has been conceived hand-in-hand with our partners to create a sanctuary above Brussels – presenting the city not only as the capital of Europe, but also as a destination of world-class elegance, culture and luxury,” he said.

Situated on the hotel’s uppermost floors, the new residences have been designed by renowned firms GA Group and DesignEQ. The spaces are inspired by Belgium’s rich cultural legacy – from literature and fine art to architecture and music.

The Royal Heritage Suite, designed by GA Group, “honours the original royal suite of 1900” and features a grand staircase, private terrace overlooking Rue Royale and luxurious finishes including Calacatta Verde marble. With a history of hosting luminaries like Winston Churchill and Salvador Dalí, it is available from €11,000 per night.

DesignEQ’s Belle Vue Penthouse draws from the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken, offering dual-aspect views and a bathroom featuring a custom laser-cut mosaic inlaid with mother-of-pearl and bold green marble foliage.

The Brontë Penthouse channels literary romance and craftsmanship, paying tribute to the Brontë sisters’ time in Brussels. “The sixth floor is the only contemporary addition to this landmark and this presented a unique opportunity to extend the building’s narrative in a fresh, distinctive way,” DesignEQ’s Lead Interior Architect, Ekaterina Nazarova, explained.

The Grand Masters Penthouse, inspired by Flemish painters like Bruegel and Rubens, evokes “curated elegance” with deep blue tones, an art-filled library, and private terraces. At €18,000 per night, it is a haven of serenity and sophistication.

Completing the collection is the Grand Gallery Penthouse, a 330 sqm residence with panoramic views, a Technogym-equipped fitness studio, and “a masterclass in refined design” that channels the Belle Époque grandeur of the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert.
