Captain’s Choice’s newest voyage for 2026 will take travellers to three of the most sought-after destinations: the Galápagos islands, Easter Island and Antarctica. The journey will be hosted aboard a Silversea vessel and will offer guests the chance to encounter endemic wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.

In addition, Captain’s Choice has also confirmed two other expedition cruise itineraries for 2026, which are now open for booking. April will see Captain’s Choice guests board Silversea’s Silver Wind to trace the Atlantic coast of West Africa, from Namibia to Ghana. Then, in November, the Paspaley Pearl will venture on a remote expedition cruise to the shores of Papua New Guinea, West Papua and the archipelago of Raja Ampat, Indonesia.

Epic Discovery of the Galápagos, Easter Island & Antarctica

The latest itinerary will bring together a group of 26 guests to explore the three destinations by expedition cruise and land excursions.

Group of Moai statue of Ahu Tongariki, Easter Island

The journey begins in Quito, Ecuador, where guests will soak up the history and culture of this vibrant city, before travelling to the remote islands of the Galápagos and embarking Silversea’s Silver Origin. Guests will explore the archipelago over seven nights before venturing further onward to Easter Island.

Here, they will spend two days taking in series of statues across the island, named moai by the indigenous Rapa Nui, while enjoying a stay at Explora Rapa Nui.

After a couple of days exploring Chile’s historic cities of Santiago and Valparaíso, guests fly South to explore Antarctica, bypassing the Drake’s Passage. The group will spend six nights aboard the Silver Endeavour. Meanwhile smaller Zodiac cruises and on-shore hikes each day allow opportunities to encounter the landscapes and Antarctic wildlife.

The 25-day Epic Discovery of the Galápagos, Easter Island & Antarctica journey will take place from 15 October to 8 November 2026.

Coastlines & Desert Wonders of West Africa

Dune 45 in Namibia

This 22-day expedition voyage invites 24 guests aboard Silver Wind to journey from Windhoek to Accra. The journey juxtaposes the towering dunes of Namibia’s Namib Desert—visiting iconic landscapes such as Big Daddy, Dune 45 and the fossil-scattered clay plains of Deadvlei—with coastal exploration across the Gulf of Guinea.

Along the way, guests will encounter chimpanzees at the Jane Goodall Institute’s Tchimpounga rehabilitation centre, stroll palm-lined beaches in Gabon and São Tomé and Príncipe, explore Benin’s emerging industries and gain rare insight into voodoo traditions in Togo.

The Coastlines & Desert Wonders of West Africa journey will take place from the 2nd to the 23rd of April 2026.

Papua New Guinea & Indonesia by Luxury Yacht

Raja Ampat Archipelago, West Papua

This expedition sets sail from the coastal town of Madang in Papua New Guinea aboard the privately chartered Paspaley Pearl, accommodating only 26 guests. Led by a dedicated Expedition Team, the voyage offers immersive experiences from the villages at the mouth of the Sepik River to the rainforest-fringed coasts of Indonesia.

Guests can swim with whale sharks in Cenderawasih Bay, snorkel reefs around West Papua and the Banda Islands and spend three days exploring the marine biodiversity of Raja Ampat’s 1,500-plus islands.

The 16-day Papua New Guinea & Indonesia by Luxury Yacht journey will take place from 27 November to 12 December 2026.
