Raeder joins Globus family of brands as Head of Marketing APAC

Her appointment marks a strategic move by GFOB to enhance its regional footprint and drive brand momentum

Johanna Raeder has assumed the position of Head of Marketing Asia Pacific for the Globus family of brands (GFOB), which includes luxury river cruise operator Avalon Waterways.

Stepping up to the position today, Raeder brings more than 15 years of experience in travel marketing to her new role. She has held senior roles across respected organisations including Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings and LATAM Airlines Group. Most recently, she served as Marketing Director at Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia.

“Johanna’s global brand expertise, and her deep travel industry experience across cruise, air and land will support our business as we strive for a strong phase of growth in the APAC region,” said Chris Hall, Managing Director of GFOB Asia Pacific.

“She understands multi-channel marketing distribution and she’ll lead the marketing team, aiming to drive growth for our Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways brands by ensuring our marketing spend supports our exceptional product offering.”

Operating out of the company’s Sydney office, Raeder will spearhead the company’s trade and consumer marketing efforts across the APAC region.
