Azamara Cruise‘s newly announced line-up of 35 AzAmazing Evenings for 2026 offers guests exclusive on-shore cultural experiences that showcase a variety of destinations across the globe by night.

First launched in 2011, AzAmazing Evenings are “one-of-a-kind, complimentary cultural celebrations” designed to connect guests with local traditions in unforgettable ways. These events are part of Azamara’s commitment to its signature Destination Immersion experiences.

“With our late-night stays and extended evenings in port, Azamara provides guests with unique opportunities to enjoy destinations after dark,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, CEO of Azamara Cruises.

“Our new 2026 AzAmazing Evenings build on this initiative with experiences that truly showcase the heart of each destination and foster deeper connections with local culture, people, and traditions. It’s all part of Azamara’s commitment to Destination Immersion and our promise to ‘Own the Night.’”

Most voyages of nine nights or longer will feature an AzAmazing Evening ashore, while select seven- and eight-night cruises will host these immersive events onboard.

Some of the highlights from the new 2026 lineup include:

  • The 14-Night Japan Intensive Cruise brings guests to Hiroshima for an evening of Hiroshima Kagura, including the dramatic Yamata-no-Orochi myth and the Mihara Yassa Festival Dance, following a traditional sake barrel opening.
  • In Mombasa, Kenya, travellers will experience Fort Jesus Museum after dark with a candlelit tour, live music, 3D projections, holograms, and fireworks celebrating Swahili heritage.
  • A performance in St. Michael’s Cave in Gibraltar, lit by over a thousand candles, will include the Gibraltar Youth Choir and an 18-piece string ensemble.
  • At the Helsinki Music Center, guests on the Baltic Intensive Cruise will enjoy Finnish music led by organist Miikka Kallio and producer Vesa Ruotonen, featuring the world’s largest modern concert hall organ.
