SLS The Red Sea is set to open this November on Shura Island, marking the brand’s first venture into Saudi Arabia.
Described as “theatrical, lavish, and unapologetic,” the resort will open with 150 rooms, suites, and villas, including 15 signature pool villas. Guests will enjoy five restaurants and bars, a pool, luxurious spa and fitness centre, outdoor cinema, and dedicated clubs for kids and teens, all set along a pristine white-sand beach.

SLS aficionados will recognise the brand’s signature flair, from “theatrical interiors” to “unexpected indulgences and witty design touches.” One standout feature is the iconic SLS duck, reimagined by Saudi contemporary artist Heba Ismail as “a striking cultural statement” that bridges the brand’s flamboyant spirit with the Kingdom’s creative scene.
Dining will be a centerpiece of the experience, with London’s cult seafood restaurant Seabird, new Japanese concept Floating World, Italian Fi’lia, artisanal café Deluxe and lively poolside venue The Perch.

For wellness seekers, Ciel Spa will offer six bespoke treatment rooms, an indoor water circuit, and outdoor hydro pool. Meanwhile, the pool will feature world-class DJs and dazzling lights.
Just 20 minutes from Red Sea International Airport, SLS The Red Sea is “not just a place to stay, but the place to be seen.”
