Qatar Airways and IHG Hotels & Resorts have formed a new partnership designed to enhance business travel through their respective corporate travel programs, Qatar Airways’ Beyond Business and IHG Business Edge.
According to the announcement, the collaboration will “offer integrated loyalty benefits through mutual point earning and redemption opportunities across IHG’s global hospitality footprint for program members.”
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer Thierry Antinori emphasised the airline’s commitment to delivering premium corporate travel. “Recognised as the World’s Best Business Class by Skytrax in 2025 for the 12th time, Qatar Airways continually seeks to enhance its corporate travel experience and rewards,” he said.
Antinori added that the partnership will “deliver greater convenience and elevated experiences to both our members,” highlighting the airline’s seamless experience from booking to transfer, including free Starlink Wi-Fi on over 100 widebody aircraft.
IHG Hotels & Resorts Senior Vice President Global Sales Mark Sergot also underscored the value of the collaboration. “This collaboration brings together the strengths of Qatar Airways Beyond Business and IHG Business Edge to offer exclusive benefits, enhanced loyalty rewards, and seamless travel experiences,” he said.
Beyond Business already provides corporate travellers with a range of advantages, including the ability to earn and redeem Qrewards, priority baggage handling, Privilege Club tier offers and access to Qatar Airways’ voluntary carbon offset program for both past and future flights. Companies can also benefit from tailored travel solutions that help “maximise savings on their travel budget based on their travel spend.”
As part of the new partnership, members who enrol in IHG Business Edge at no cost will gain access to immediate rewards. After completing their first qualifying stay, members will receive an instant upgrade to IHG One Rewards Gold Elite Status, guaranteed discounts at more than 6,800 hotels worldwide, and the ability to “earn 40% more points with every eligible stay.”
IHG Business Edge, launched in 2018 as a tool for small and medium-sized enterprises looking to streamline their travel management and unlock added value. The program now serves “tens of thousands of enrolled business accounts globally,” offering exclusive rates, simplified booking and loyalty benefits.
Under the new partnership, IHG Business Edge members who join Beyond Business will also earn “50,000 bonus Qrewards on their first flight with Qatar Airways,” redeemable for flights, upgrades and other rewards.
