Silversea comes out swinging with new onboard experiences

Two industry firsts including SeaDrivePro golf simulator

Silversea is adding a portable golf simulator and an AI-powered strength training system to is onboard experience for guests, in what the luxury cruise operator says are “industry firsts”.

They are among a suite of new offerings across wellness, entertainment and sports that Silversea has introduced, including;

  • Pickleball courts and putting greens debuting on select ships (beginning with Silver Muse later this year)
  • Creative workshops: painting, crafts, local music lessons, and pizza, sushi, cake decorating, artisanal bread-making classes, and wine tastings and mixology workshops.
  • Immersive experiences: moonlight movies, silent discos, themed evenings, and more.
  • Expanded lectures: topics ranging longevity, history, regional culture, and exploration, with new speakers and topics being added on a rolling basis.

Silversea says it is the first cruise travel brand to introduce amp, a precision-engineered, AI-powered strength device with five versatile attachments and intelligent app integration. Now available in the Fitness Center on Silver Spirit, amp will be available on all the brand’s classic ships in 2026.

Also launching December 2025 aboard Silver Dawn, SeaDrivePro by Off the Deck is the world’s first fully portable golf entertainment system. Guests can play iconic courses with real-time analytics and enjoy onboard instruction from visiting golf pros. SeaDrivePro will also be available during Silversea’s 2026 World Cruise allowing discerning golfers to practice while at sea.
