A new 9-day Turkish Treasures itinerary between Istanbul and Cappadocia has been released by Golden Eagle Luxury Trains. The one-off departure on 17 September 2026 includes four nights on the Golden Eagle Danube Express, top and tailed with two nights luxury accommodation in Istanbul and Cappadocia.

Highlights of the itinerary include the majestic domes of the Hagia Sophia and shimmering mosaics of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, to the ancient marble streets of Ephesus, the spiritual ruins of Hierapolis and the sacred city of Laodicea, the capital heartbeat of Ankara, and the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia and the Ozkonak underground city.

Guests will have the chance to take a sunrise hot air balloon ride and a experience a private Bosphorus cruise under the stars in Istanbul.
