Silolona Sojourns has revealed further details of its five new itineraries in some of Indonesia’s most spectacular destinations, which open up its traditional phinisi yachts to independent travellers for the first time.
The voyages across Indonesia range from deep cultural immersion to high-adventure expeditions and marine-focused journeys. Each voyage pairs exploration with comfort, guided by expert crews who share “a deep respect for the land and sea,” with plenty of opportunity to unwind aboard the company’s hand-crafted vessels.
As flagged by LATTE earlier this month, guests can now reserve individual cabins aboard Silolona and Si Datu Bua, enabling solo adventurers and couples to discover remote Indonesia without compromising on privacy or luxury.

Among the new routes is the Savu Sea & Sumba Connection, a ten-day cultural immersion ideal between March–April and October–November. This journey “celebrates Indonesia’s living heritage through encounters with ancient villages, sacred rituals and traditional artistry.”
Travellers will witness ceremonies in Sumba, explore ancestral stone graves in Savu, meet master weavers, and, naturally, pay a visit to Komodo’s iconic dragons. Rates start from US$3,000 per night per cabin – this includes all F&B, diving, scheduled activities and accommodation.
Explorers seeking something even more remote can embark on the 14-day West Papua odyssey, Cenderawasih Bay, Semi-Nomadic Hunter Gatherer Communities & Raja Ampat, offered from October to April. Guests will swim with whale sharks, meet remote semi-nomadic forest dwelling communities, learn bark-cloth traditions, dive over WWII relics and sail among the striking limestone karsts of Wayag.

Meanwhile, adventure lovers can opt for the seven-day Komodo Trek Expedition from May to September, combining world-class diving with hikes across rugged island terrain, including Padar Island’s legendary ridges and Rinca’s dragon-inhabited plains. Or the nine-day Alor Archipelago Adventure explores “volcanic peaks,” coral islands, ikat-weaving villages with the chance to spot elusive dugongs.
Rounding out the collection is The Whale Sharks & Hidden Reefs of Cenderawasih Bay, a seven-day marine expedition offering intimate encounters with the region’s gentle giants and pristine reef systems.
For full-vessel private charters, Silolona is available at US$18,700 per day, sleeping up to 12,” while Si Datu Bua charters start at US$12,000 per day, sleeping up to six, with all food, diving, activities and accommodation included.
