TTC Tour Brands has renewed its partnership with the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA), “reinforcing its long-term commitment to inclusivity and ‘Tours for Any and Everyone’ initiative.” The renewal coincides with TTC Tour Brands’ participation in the IGLTA Global Convention, which is taking place in Palm Springs, CA, October 21-25.
“Our attendance at the IGLTA Global Convention reflects our commitment to nurturing our relationship with the LGBTQ+ community and creating unforgettable, accessible experiences for everyone,” said Melissa DaSilva, Deputy CEO, TTC Tour Brands. “Renewing our partnership with IGLTA at the Silver Partner level ensures advisors can recommend TTC Tour Brands with confidence, knowing every traveler will feel welcome on our tours.”
What this means: advisors can continue to expect a diverse range of resources, itineraries and experiences designed to meet the needs of all travelers across the Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Contiki, Brendan Vacations and Costsaver brands.
Representing TTC Tour Brands at the convention is Paulo Zambrano, senior national accounts manager, and Kevin Loftus, Brendan Vacations North American sales manager. Both will join travel professionals from around the world to exchange insights and strengthen connections within the LGBTQ+ travel community.
Speaking on TTC Tour Brands’ sponsorship, John Tanzella, IGLTA CEO and president, said, “Partnerships like this strengthen our shared efforts to enable authentic travel that enriches lives and connects the LGBTQ+ community and tourism industry.”
TTC Tour Brands Elevates Egypt Itineraries

In other recent TTC Tour Brands news, the group is now offering the highly anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) on all Trafalgar and Insight Vacations Egypt itineraries. (It will also offer the GEM as an optional experience with Costsaver once the museum fully opens this November.)
The GEM will showcase over 5,000 treasures from Tutankhamun’s collection together for the first time, along with an iconic Grand Staircase, an 83-ton Ramses II statue in the Grand Hall and cutting-edge research and restoration facilities.
“The opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum will be one of the most significant cultural moments of the decade,” said Jen Hirtle, general manager for EMEA Travel Experiences, TTC Tour Brands. “Egypt has always been a destination that inspires travelers and now advisors can offer even more reasons for their clients to experience it with Trafalgar, Insight Vacations or Costsaver.”
Trafalgar’s Egypt collection includes guided journeys and Nile cruises that immerse travelers in the country’s history, combining expert insight from Egyptologists with access to world-famous landmarks, like the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, Abu Simbel and Philae Temple.
Insight Vacations offers a premium experience with elevated inclusions and accommodations, along with “Women-Only” departures crafted and led by women. Highlights include a visit to a women’s co-operative in Aswan and high tea at the Old Cataract Hotel.
