Explora Journeys will launch it inaugural world cruise in 2029, confirming Australian ports are part of the itinerary, foreshadowed exclusively by LATTE in October.
Sailing aboard Explora I and spanning 128 days, the “Endless Worlds” voyage will depart Dubai on January 6, 2029, and encompass four continents, 29 countries and 63 destinations, before concluding in Barcelona on May 14, 2029.
Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific are all destinations Explora I will visit, including Darwin, Cairns, Airlie Beach, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Tasmania, before embarking on a South Pacific exploration that will explore Fiji, Tonga, the Cook Islands, Hawaii, French Polynesia and Easter Island, LATTE can confirm.
The “Endless Worlds” itinerary “reflects a new chapter of Explora Journeys, guided throughout by the brand’s signature ‘Ocean State of Mind’ philosophy,” the MSC Group’s luxury cruise line said.

“Purposeful, unhurried and profoundly enriching, the Journey traces the routes of ancient trade, cultural exchange and human connection, crossing the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic oceans.”
“Our Inaugural World Journey embodies our deepest values—boundless exploration, cultural curiosity and a meaningful connection to the ocean,” said Anna Nash, President of Explora Journeys.
“It enables our guests to experience ethe world as an uninterrupted story, told gradually and gracefully, with the time and space to absorb its beauty in full.”
The 128-day journey will comprise seven segments, known as ‘Passages’ by Explora Journeys. Each Passage is a “self-contained chapter.” The legs will operated from Dubai to the Maldives, Maldives to Sri Lanka and Indonesia, the Oceania region, across the Pacific to the Americas, then the Atlantic, before arriving in the Mediterranean.

Each Passages will offer cultural enrichment programs and globally influenced culinary experiences to reflect the region of the world they sail, alongside cultural performances and local experts hosted onboard “to mirror the landscapes and stories encountered along the way.”
A collection of Destination Experiences, led by local experts, provides deeper engagement with the people, traditions and the natural environments of each region.
Reservations for “Endless Worlds” will open in early 2026.
