Hilton announced that it has signed Sandblu Santorini, which will be affiliated with LXR Hotels & Resorts. Set to open for the 2026 summer season, the resort will mark the debut of the LXR brand in the country. This signing highlights a period of growth for LXR Hotels & Resorts as the collection approaches nearly 40 properties operating or under development worldwide. The announcement follows on the heels of the recent debut of SAX Paris.

Set on Eastern Santorini’s rugged slopes, Sandblu overlooks the Aegean Sea and the black sand beach of Kamari. Its collection of 66 rooms and suites features stone exteriors and whitewashed walls.

In the accommodations, every room opens onto a private terrace overlooking either the pool or the Aegean Sea. Nearly one-third of the accommodations have their own private pools. Beyond these, three villas offer added privacy and refinement.

The resort’s beach area offers access to the island’s shoreline and “elevated seaside relaxation.” Wellness offerings include two infinity pools, a spa with a sauna and an indoor pool, a two-story fitness studio, and a yoga garden.

Designed by Rockwell Group, a signature restaurant and all-day dining venue will invite guests to indulge in diverse flavors, while a wine bar will offer a refined setting to savor local wines. Families are cared for with a dedicated kids club.

Well-situated for exploring the island’s cultural heritage and natural beauty, Sandblu offers hiking trails leading to Ancient Thira and easy access to Kamari Beach. Just a short drive from Santorini International Airport and the port, the resort provides convenient connections to major European cities and the wider Cycladic archipelago.
