Seabourn has unveiled its 2028 “Cape to Cape” World Cruise, a 120-day journey aboard Seabourn Quest that will span five continents and more than 50 destinations that is timed to mark the beginning of the luxury cruise line’s 40th anniversary year.

The voyage will also introduce the first complimentary expedition-style experiences ever offered on a Seabourn world cruise.

Departing Miami on 7 January 2028, the 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise will cover more than 26,000 nautical miles between two legendary landmarks: Cape Horn in South America and the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. Along the way, the ship will explore iconic and remote regions including Antarctica, Easter Island, the Falkland Islands, and the Chilean Fjords, while also transiting the Panama Canal in a nod to Seabourn’s inaugural sailing four decades earlier.

“As we celebrate 40 years of luxury, small-ship cruising, the 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise showcases how luxury meets exploration at Seabourn: reaching off-the-beaten-path destinations while offering the ease, comfort, and warmth our guests cherish,” said Seabourn President Mark Tamis.“This voyage pairs rare expedition-style experiences with the thoughtful hospitality that defines sailing with Seabourn.”

For the first time on a Seabourn world cruise, guests will enjoy complimentary expedition-style experiences led by an expanded 18-person expedition team. These immersive activities will be offered in Antarctica, the Chilean Fjords, and other select destinations, with opportunities designed to bring travelers closer to the region’s dramatic landscapes and wildlife.

Expedition experiences in Antarctica will also commemorate 15 years of Seabourn’s presence on the White Continent and include complimentary Zodiac cruising and guided hikes, with optional kayaking tours available.

The voyage will feature multiple maiden calls for Seabourn’s ocean fleet, including Robinson Crusoe Island and Santa Clara Island in the South Pacific, Nightingale Island in the South Atlantic, and Chile’s Garibaldi Glacier. In total, the itinerary will visit more than 38 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Guests may choose between a full 120-day sailing from Miami to Dover (London) or a 112-day option ending in Lisbon. Included amenities range from a new multi-day Seabourn Journey to Machu Picchu and round-trip Business Class air to upgraded Starlink-powered Wi-Fi, shipboard credit, unlimited laundry, and a bespoke polar parka. An Early Booking Advantage offers savings of up to 10% for reservations made before 30 January 2026.
