Four Seasons Yachts‘ first vessel, Four Seasons I, has been undergoing sea trials ahead of its debut, Ben Trodd, CEO of the brand told media at an event at ILTM Cannes this morning in France.
Last week LATTE exclusively revealed the launch of Four Seasons I had been delayed by nearly two months, from a 25 January 2026 departure to now be set to debut on 20 March 2026, cruising on a 9-night itinerary from Malaga to Valletta (Malta).
“We’ve been talking about it now for almost six years*, which is really exciting, and to really see it coming to life in the flesh now…, she truly is utterly beautiful,” Trodd said.
Trodd, who was previously the Chief Operating Officer for Aman, took on the role of CEO of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd (the parent brand of Four Seasons Yachts) back in July 2025. He further revealed that the vessel was undergoing sea trials off the coast of Ancona, Italy.

Four Seasons I will feature 95 suites and 11 food and beverage outlets.
Trodd said Four Seasons I is “creating a category of one, that isn’t covered anywhere else in the industry right now” and that the start-up is luring guests who are familiar with the Four Seasons hotel brand name, alongside people who “are looking to explore other parts of the world”, moving from the ultra-luxury hospitality businesses’ hotels, and private jet itineraries to sailing.
“We’re very excited to bring something that perhaps lures news guests to Four Seasons as well,” he added.
