Visit USA Australia, in partnership with Brand USA, hosted its annual Thanksgiving breakfast in Sydney last Thursday morning in celebration of one of America’s most treasured traditions.
This event is a highlight on the Visit USA calendar and offers a meaningful opportunity to celebrate community and the importance of gratitude.
Caroline Davidson, President of Visit USA Australia, welcomed guests by expressing gratitude to the Visit USA Committee, members, media and trade partners for their continued support in promoting travel to the US to ensure outbound bookings remain strong.

“As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, we’re reminded how deeply this tradition is woven into the heart of America. It’s a day to pause, to give thanks for what we have and to cherish the sense of togetherness that defines this special day,” she said.
“We’re thrilled to be able to gather and celebrate with all of our industry partners and supporters who work so tirelessly alongside us to continue inspiring Australian travellers to travel to the US.”

The event also provided the opportunity to reflect on all that has been achieved in 2025 including:
- The launch of a new-look Visit USA website that features an extensive collection of training and promotional resources, member profiles, engaging content and evergreen news stories.
- Hosting the new-format Visit USA Expo’s in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne which saw 58 exhibitors engage with over 700 retail travel agents and
- Hosting the annual IPW 2025 Welcome Event for 180 Australian and New Zealand members and delegates.

“Our Thanksgiving breakfast is not only a moment to reflect on the year gone by, but an opportunity to look ahead at what we can accomplish together. With the continued support of our amazing members and partners, Visit USA will continue to drive growth, innovation and inspiration across the Australian travel industry,” she concluded.
