A group of Australian advisors is currently being hosted on a Regent Seven Seas Cruises voyage around Japan aboard Seven Seas Explorer, with the journey kicking off in Shimizu.

Business Development Manager VIC/SA Stacey Hill revealed that the weather was rainy, “but still really enjoyed our tour!”

Although the iconic views of Mt Fuji were hidden, guests embraced a rich cultural program. “We all had a wonderful time at the tea ceremony and art museum,” Hill said.

Among the group were Guy Batton from MTA and his partner Lon, as well as Learni from Clean Cruising, who “joined in the art activities and added to the fun.”

Onboard, the energy stayed high with snapshots of Lisa Wattle enjoying a burger on the pool deck, group moments in front of the chandelier, and a lively pre-dinner gathering at the Meridian Bar. Guests also enjoyed a “spectacular” Japanese Taiko drum performance that became a highlight of the evening.

The journey continued with an overnight stay in Osaka, giving the group two full days to explore. Everyone chose their own adventures, with some heading to Universal Studios, others discovering Kyoto, and a smaller group touring Osaka Castle, later sharing sweeping views of & from Osaka Castle. The flexible itinerary made the stop “a diverse and memorable experience for the group!”

Today, the group has arrived in Beppu, where anticipation is high as everyone looks forward to unwinding in the region’s famous hot springs – a relaxing pause in an itinerary filled with culture, food, and unforgettable Japanese experiences.
