Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas in Paradise Valley, AZ, is now accepting reservations for stays beginning January 5, 2026. The property sits between the peaks of Camelback and Mummy mountains and is just minutes from Old Town Scottsdale’s dining, galleries and cultural attractions.
Among the largest resorts in the Kimpton portfolio, the property marks the brand’s second property in Arizona. It is also the result of a multimillion-dollar transformation of the former Scottsdale Plaza Resort.
Upon opening, the 40-acre property will have 260 Canyon Guestrooms and Casitas, alongside fully redesigned public spaces and pools. Valley Villas and Residences will follow in late 2026. Among the public spaces will be “hidden alcoves” and “secluded garden pockets.”

There will also be six swimming pools, including the three-tier Canyon Oasis Pool—home to shaded cabanas, Chef Wes Avila’s buzzy poolside bar, Cima, and family-friendly playscapes that encourage exploration.
On the wellness front, Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas’ signature Desert Reveries experiences will include the like of Canyon Echoes, an immersive sound installation; Canyon Mists, a cooling water oasis; and a stargazing oculus with sculpted, dune-like seating. Spa Miralina, additionally, expands on this holistic philosophy with five treatment rooms, poolside massage pavilions, a full-service salon, sauna, and cold plunge, as well as a fitness pavilion.

The culinary program showcases regional flavors, anchored by Hecho Libre, a signature three-meal dining concept from acclaimed Los Angeles chef Wes Avila. Guests here can expect “bold, Baja-inspired” dishes.
Good to know: Miralina offers the brand’s signature Pets Always Welcome program.
