Quark Expeditions has opened booking for its Arctic 2027 and Antarctic 2027-28 voyages. The two-plus-year window is earlier than any time in its company history, it said, reflecting strong demand and underscoring its “growth and continued strength in polar-only travel.”

Catherine Lawton, Senior Director of Product Development for Quark Expeditions, highlighted a voyage into the Weddell Sea and added Science and Discovery programming and culinary experiences as highlights of the newly released collection of sailings. Beyond those, the Arctic 2027 and Antarctic 2027-28 seasons will introduce a range of new immersive voyages and experiences. Among them:  

• Journeying deep into one of Antarctica’s most storied and rarely visited expanses via “Antarctic Peninsula, A Rare Exploration of the Weddell Sea.”
• Exploring the wildlife and epic landscapes of the seldom-visited and difficult-to-reach “Falkland Island and South Georgia, 20-day Wildlife Adventure.”
• Spotting iconic animals like the puffin and polar bear and exploring a snow-covered tundra and glaciers on “Scotland to Spitsbergen, Puffins, Sea Ice and Wildlife.”
• Exploring the fjords where some of the biggest icebergs in the Northern Hemisphere are created via “West Greenland, Discovering Massive Icebergs and Inuit Communities.”
• Going farther North on the west coast of Greenland than any other itinerary offered by Quark, visiting the remote Qanaaq and Upernavik communities, on the “West Greenland, Exploring the Far North” itinerary.
• A culinary journey inspired by Arctic traditions via “Tundra to Table: Iceland.”

Plus, guests can enjoy an expanded Science and Discovery program onboard Ultramarine.
