Celebrity Edge kicks off 2025-26 ANZ deployment in Sydney

The vessel will sail 17 voyages departing from Sydney and Auckland through to April 2026

Celebrity CruisesCelebrity Edge has officially launched its third season in Australia, arriving in Sydney early on Tuesday morning following a 19-night Transpacific sailing from Honolulu.

With 17 sailings departing from Sydney and Auckland through to April 2026, guests can choose from short four-night escapes to more in-depth 14-night journeys. The season begins today with an 11-night itinerary exploring the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef.

A key highlight this season is increased access to New Zealand, with seven sailings dedicated to the region. Among them is a 13-night Holiday Cruise visiting the country’s stunning fjords – Milford, Doubtful, and Dusky Sounds – alongside seven port stops across the North and South Islands. Wine lovers can also embark on a nine-night Australia Wine Journey, visiting top vineyard regions in Hobart, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, and Melbourne.

For land-based adventure seekers, the 2025/26 season introduces 54 new and exclusive shore excursions, including Celebrity Edge’s first-ever visit to Newcastle this December. Guests can enjoy a sculpture walk paired with wine tasting and a local lunch. In Wellington, a new wellness tour includes a garden walk, yoga beside native bushland, and refreshments made from farm-fresh ingredients.

In a historic moment, Celebrity Solstice will also arrive tomorrow, marking the cruise line’s first consecutive port days in Sydney Harbour. The ship will return on 9 April 2026 with major upgrades as part of a US$250 million revitalisation, debuting eight new experiences and redesigned favourites.
