Following on from its April 2025 opening, Orient Express La Minerva has marked another milestone with the unveiling its exclusive Signature Suites.

The newly revealed suites “reveal a unique dialogue between history and modernity”, according to Orient Express, reflecting the hotel’s location in the heart of Rome, just steps from the Pantheon.

“Designed by artist-architect Hugo Toro, each suite is a curated world — where bespoke Italian craftsmanship, original frescoes, and panoramic views meet Rome’s eternal light,” the hotel firm said.

“From the Orient Express Suite, the largest and most exclusive, to La Minerva Suite, a rooftop retreat paying tribute to the Roman goddess, each space tells a story. The Obelisco Suite frames Bernini’s iconic elephant and obelisk, while the Stendhal Suite, once home to the illustrious writer, evokes timeless elegance.”

Each suite features bespoke furniture, artworks, handwoven carpets and marble bathrooms.

The property, the first ever Orient Express hotel, will soon be joined by Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli which will open in Venice later this year – another partnership with Arsenale Group.
