Set to open this December, Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin represents Rosewood Hotel Group‘s, first-ever winter resort and second property in mainland France.
Set in the exclusive Jardin Alpin enclave of Courchevel 1850, this new destination aims to capture the nostalgic glamour of the 1960s French Alps while redefining luxury alpine living.

“We’re delighted to introduce Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin as an idyllic alpine retreat that celebrates the spirit of the French Alps and offers guests unparalleled access to the slopes,” said Radha Arora, President of Rosewood Hotel Group.
Designed by renowned French designer Tristan Auer, the resort exudes a contemporary chalet style, blending timber, stone, and mirrored surfaces to create spaces that are both intimate and dramatic.

“We approached the project as though we were creating a private mansion chalet rather than a traditional hotel,” Auer explained. “The idea was to capture the glamour of the mountains while transporting guests into another world.”
Guests can expect 51 rooms and suites, including three signature houses with panoramic terraces overlooking Les Trois Vallées. The largest, the Jardin Alpin Apartment, features four bedrooms, a cinema room, and expansive indoor and outdoor dining areas, ideal for gatherings.

“With Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, we wanted to create a destination that celebrates the joy of alpine life – a place to gather, explore, and create lasting memories in one of the world’s most beautiful settings,” said François Arrighi, Managing Director.
A Mediterranean-inspired restaurant serves as the heart of the resort, offering alpine classics by day and transforming into an intimate après-ski venue by night, complete with curated wines, cocktails, and live music.

Skiing enthusiasts will enjoy ski-in, ski-out access and bespoke experiences curated by the resort’s dedicated concierge team — from private fireworks dinners at mountaintop chalets to exclusive First and Last Track skiing adventures at dawn or dusk.
The on-site Asaya Spa offers alpine wellness with treatments like the Ski Legs Revival massage and Oxylight 3D Radiance facial, as well as guided outdoor Pilates and mindfulness sessions.
Rooms start at €2,300 per night.
