Scenic is counting down to the start of the Antarctica season in just over a month, sharing pictures of its newest submersible.
The Scenic Neptune U-Boat Worx submersible will join its Antarctic Peninsula and South Georgia voyages.

“We’re delighted to share the arrival of the new Scenic Neptune U-Boat Worx submersible for the Antarctic Peninsula and South Georgia voyages,” Scenic said.
The revelation comes as the cruise line makes its final preparations for the Scenic Eclipse Discovery Yachts, with “elevated exploration” on the cards thanks to two on-board helicopters.

It outlined some of the season’s highlights as ranging from “witnessing the Emperor penguin colony of Snow Hill Island to visiting the historic Mawson’s Huts in East Antarctica, and landing in the otherworldly McMurdo Dry Valleys in the Ross Sea on select departures”.
