Hilton recently announced the opening of Conrad Hamburg, marking the brand’s debut in Germany. With 283 guestrooms and suites, the hotel is housed within the historic Levantehaus, a renowned Art Nouveau building designed by Franz Bach and Carl Bensel.

Echoing the building’s “artistic spirit,” Conrad Hamburg showcases a collection of works from both emerging and established German contemporary artists. Located across the second to eighth floors, the hotel houses installations such as Ada Isensee’s coloured leaded glass ceiling, visible from every floor and serving as a centrepiece that connects the hotel’s spaces.

Located in the heart of Hamburg’s Kunstmeile (Art Mile), the hotel is well-situated for guests looking to immerse themselves in the city’s art and culture. Nearby landmarks including City Hall, the serene Alster lakes and the vibrant HafenCity district, with the iconic Elbphilharmonie. There are also convenient connections nearby to Hamburg Central Station and the airport.

Refined Accommodations

Conrad Hamburg’s 283 rooms and suites are intended to blend contemporary luxury with subtle nods to the city’s maritime heritage. Many of the rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Hamburg cityscape, while interiors utilize a palette of dark blues, greys, reds and copper tones (intended to be reminiscent of the city’s industrial heritage). In addition, the hotel offers 28 studios with kitchenettes, as well as 29 suites.

The crown jewel is the Presidential Suite, spanning 232 square metres, complete with a private balcony and fireplace. This suite also includes expansive living areas, modern amenities such as an espresso machine, and more.

Public Spaces

Conrad Hamburg’s signature restaurant, GRETA OTO restaurant, “offers guests an imaginative gastronomic experience focused on vibrant Latin American cuisine.” The menu at the indoor-outdoor restaurant comprises South American specialties like Peruvian ceviche, Brazilian beef tenderloin, grilled octopus and freshly prepared guacamole.

Conrad Hamburg offers an expansive 1,000-square-metre spa and fitness area. The spa, set to open soon, will be home to Hamburg’s longest indoor pool, a sauna and steam bath, as well as an extensive range of wellness services and treatments.
