Cathay Pacific will resume non-stop flights between Hong Kong and Seattle, with a five times weekly service beginning 30 March 2026.
The move makes Seattle the airline’s ninth passenger destination in North America, reflecting its its broader efforts to strengthen its North American presence. In April this year, the airline debuted four times weekly direct passenger flights between Hong Kong and Dallas-Fort Worth, which will increase to daily from 26 October 2025.
According to Cathay Pacific Chief Customer and Commercial Officer Lavinia Lau, the resumption of the Seattle route is a strategic step in supporting both business and tourism. “We are excited to resume direct passenger flights to Seattle, reinforcing our goal to deepen business and cultural ties between Hong Kong and a dynamic tech hub in the United States,” she said.
“This route not only provides greater convenience for our customers, but also supports the growing demand for connectivity between Asia and North America, particularly among travellers from the Chinese Mainland and India.”
The Seattle service will be operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft, offering fully flat beds in Business. Flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
