Ayesha Molino has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of MGM Resorts International, with Gary Fritz taking on the role of Chief Commercial Officer and President of MGM Digital.
Molino will step up to her new position on 1 January 2026, succeeding current COO Corey Sanders, who is set to retire at the end of 2025 after over 30 years of service.
“Ayesha is an exceptionally gifted strategic thinker and operator who excels at managing through complexity, earning her the respect of her colleagues and peers throughout the company,” MGM Resorts President & CEO Bill Hornbuckle said.
“Ayesha’s ability to unite teams, drive results, and navigate challenges makes her the perfect leader to succeed Corey as COO.”

Currently serving as President and COO of ARIA and Vdara, Molino has led the properties to record performance in key areas, including EBITDAR, annual revenue and guest satisfaction. She also serves as MGM Resorts’ Chief Public Affairs Officer.
In her new role, Molino will oversee operations across the company’s portfolio. “I am confident she will continue to help shape our future growth and success,” Hornbuckle added.
Meanwhile, Fritz, who previously led MGM Resorts International Interactive, assumes his new position with immediate effect. “Gary has been instrumental in establishing and advancing our digital strategy through acquisitions, strategic partnerships and organic expansion of our BetMGM brand into new international markets like Brazil,” Hornbuckle said. “He is a visionary leader with keen insights and instincts.”
Fritz’s expanded responsibilities will include overseeing digital, gaming, marketing and advertising as MGM seeks to accelerate its omni-channel strategy.
