Dubai’s trackside luxury hotel, The Meydan Hotel, will join Kerzner International‘s Rare Finds portfolio, with the property now taking bookings for early 2026 when it will reopen following a major renovation.
The Dubai Holding-owned hotel is currently undergoing a transformation of its rooms and public areas.
Kerzner International CEO Philippe Zuber said the addition of the property to its management portfolio aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan to develop new neighbourhoods.

“Our growth is fuelled by a deep commitment to bringing to life every destination, not just with new developments, but with our ability to infuse our innovative spirit into iconic properties,” he said.
“The Meydan Hotel has a legacy of its own, and our mission is to honour that and bring a new level of service and a dynamic atmosphere that truly captures the energy of Meydan.”
The Meydan Hotel is the only hotel in the world integrated into the grandstand of an international horse racetrack. The hotel offers some of the largest rooms and suites in the city, all with balconies, and is located 15 to 20 minutes from Dubai’s key landmarks and business hubs.

The hotel’s transformation aims to position it as a social hub within the Meydan community. It will feature several culinary options including Farriers, Saddle Bar, and the Tea Lounge at the Millennium Lobby. The hotel also offers indoor and outdoor event spaces capable of hosting up to 50,000 guests.
Dubai Holding Hospitality CFO Michael Heyes noted the strategic importance of the transition. “The Meydan Hotel is an important property within Dubai’s hospitality landscape – an icon of our city’s racing heritage and a gateway to a growing residential and lifestyle district,” he said.
“Appointing Kerzner to manage the hotel reflects our focus on performance and world-class guest experiences, and supports the continued evolution of the Meydan district in line with Dubai’s long-term vision.”
Ziad Sleiman will lead the hotel’s new chapter as General Manager.
