Silversea has implemented a new fare structure, effective Friday 11 September 2025, which it says provides guests with “greater flexibility”.

The new fare types will enable guests to personalise their travel experiences with pre- and post-cruise add-ons — including air travel, hotels, transfers, and land experiences. Remaining unchanged, Silversea’s all-inclusive onboard offering.

Silversea’s three new fares – billed as “The Luxury of Choice” – are comprised of:

• All-inclusive Plus Fare – Silversea’s new ‘All-Inclusive Plus Fare’ provides the greatest value to guests, and offers a refundable deposit, as well as the peace of mind provided by the brand’s Fare Guarantee Program. When opting for the ‘All-Inclusive Plus Fare’ on oceangoing voyages, guests will enjoy a shore excursion credit — determined by the length and region of the sailing — that they can apply to the experiences of their choice.
  All expedition voyages will continue to offer included shore excursions as part of the experience, as well as Zodiac tours, expert lectures, in-country flights, and pre-/post-cruise hotel nights as required by the destination, and other customary inclusions.
• All-inclusive fare – Silversea’s ‘All-Inclusive Fare’ will be available exclusively on oceangoing voyages. This fare type offers guests the flexibility to purchase shore excursions à la carte, either before the cruise or on board. ‘All Inclusive Fares’ will require a non-refundable deposit.
• Last-minute fare – Available on select oceangoing and expedition voyages within five months of departure, the ‘Last-Minute Fare’ offers guests favourable savings. With this fare, the deposit is non-refundable, and the total payment must be paid in full at the time of booking.

With the introduction of its enhanced fare structure, Silversea is also evolving its offering of shore excursions, providing yet more opportunities for guests to personalise their voyages. Ensuring it delivers local immersion, authentic cultural connections, and lasting impressions, Silversea is broadening its shore excursion offering with all-new experience types — thoughtfully curated by the brand. Beginning 11 September, the brand’s land experiences will include:

• Highlight Experiences: seamless tours of iconic sites
• Signature Experiences: smallest tours, crafted by Silversea
• Private Experiences: exclusive tours for a group of guests
• Custom Experiences: tailor-made tours
• Overland Experiences: two-/three-day mid-cruise insland tours (on select voyages)

The brand also recently launched City Stays by Silversea, in destinations such as Copenhagen, Rome, Barcelona and Athens. The City Stays by Silversea include a luxury hotel stay with personalised service such as dining experiences, curated tours and local interactions.
