Walk into Luxury has embarked on a new growth path, as the Australian experiential travel company confirmed a strategic investment by Rob and Lou Tandy through their private company, Travel Maven Investments.

Founded in 2014 by Perth-based entrepreneur and former lawyer Nikki King, Walk into Luxury has evolved from a single tour along Western Australia’s Cape to Cape Track into a global portfolio of handcrafted journeys across Australia, New Zealand, Patagonia, Japan, and Norway. Each experience is designed to “nurture both body and mind,” blending wilderness experiences with exceptional food, wine, and luxury accommodation.

As Co-Founder of TMI & Co-Owner/Director of Farleigh Holdings, Rob and Lou Tandy are widely respected figures in Australia’s luxury travel scene. They will join the board this month, bringing with them decades of expertise in ultra-luxury product design and tourism leadership.

Their investment reflects confidence in the company’s mission and the growing appetite for transformational yet high-end, nature-based travel experiences.

“Luxury travellers are increasingly seeking journeys that enhance their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing,” Lou Tandy said.

“Walk into Luxury is at the forefront of this shift, creating private journeys that connect people with nature and spectacular scenery while offering the highest level of comfort and service. We are delighted to partner with Nikki and her team to help take this vision to the world.”

With a shared ownership structure between the Tandys and King, the company will be grounded in aligned values and a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability in luxury travel.

“From the beginning, our goal has been to engage people with nature, creating bespoke, immersive journeys that allow travellers to disconnect in pristine wilderness,” King, the company’s CEO, said.

“Rob and Lou understand this completely. Their deep experience in luxury travel and their personal passion for creating extraordinary journeys make them the perfect partners for our next chapter.”

The investment will enable Walk into Luxury to expand its team and fast-track new destination launches. Bhutan and the Himalayas, Peru, the Galapagos, Sri Lanka and the Dolomites are all set to debut in the coming year, signalling an exciting new era for the brand.
