Accor has appointed Paula Tannous to the role of Regional Director of Hotels Performance, Pacific, for the hotel juggernaut’s luxury stable of brands, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems.
With extensive experience across Australia, the UK, UAE, and Asia, Tannous’ career spans roles with leading global brands including Accor, Caesars Entertainment, Fairmont, and Intercontinental, each shaped by a strong commercial and guest-centric vision.
Her deep experience in luxury hospitality, brand development and global partnerships, sees Tannous focus on ensuring the performance of the hotels within the group, at a time of significant expansion and transformation.

“Paula’s exceptional track record in executing powerful, data-driven performance strategies and her ability to foster collaborative leadership make her a perfect fit for our Pacific growth ambitions,” said David Fraser, Vice President of Operations for Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems in the Pacific. “Her arrival strengthens our regional team as we continue expanding our luxury presence and delivering meaningful guest experiences across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and beyond.”
Tannous said she is excited to join the team at such a pivotal moment for the three brands in the region.
“This is a full circle moment for me as I worked with Sofitel 20 years ago and I have watched how the brand has been elevated, while at the same time seeing the expansion of the MGallery brand, and the announcement of the first iconic Emblems hotels,” she said.
“I am thrilled to spearhead the hotel performance of this exclusive collection of luxury brands in the Pacific and look forward to helping to further enhance the guest experience of the network as its expands.”
Tannous’ remit will more include more than 20 luxury hotels across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
